Next Week Samsung Fascinate Coming From Verizon

Verizon Wireless will launch the Samsung Fascinate, its device from Samsung's Galaxy S series of Android phones, on September 9, according to internal Verizon documents reportedly obtained by Boy Genius Report.

The Samsung Fascinate will be the last of the Galaxy S phones available from the four major nationwide carriers, and Verizon has released little information about the phone. Its siblings, the Samsung Captivate and Samsung Vibrant (pictured here),
already are available from AT&T and T-Mobile, respectively, and Sprint plans to launch its Galaxy S phone, the Samsung Epic 4G, this week. All of the phones off similar features,
such as a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen and Android version 2.1, but Verizon has not said much about what will differentiate the Fascinate from the others.

The news about the Fascinate comes just as Samsung is touting the success of its Galaxy S line.

The company released a press release this morning noting that it has shipped 1 million Galaxy S phones since the line launched on July 15.
